Trail 102B was cut by Offroad Consulting over a year ago, and I’d been meaning to try it out! It’s said to be a “dark” blue (which is on the harder end of moderate), and it’s soo close to the park entrance that it makes it a great quick trip to run. So today we did!
It was a rainy day, so all of the rocks were slippery, and on top of that we had a mixed group though, so instead of making them all sit and watch while some of the larger rigs had fun, I decided to hit easier trails after this one. So we didn’t get to the second half of 102B, nor did we hit Whiskey Ridge, which is another trail I’ve been dieing to check out. Ah well, there’s always next time. 😉
Regardless, we had a great day, and the folks with the Blacktop Warriors Jeep Club were a fun bunch of folks!
